Eyes of Time

This tutorial was created in PSP 11 but can be done in most versions.

Filters are not included with the supplies.

Open all of the tubes & minimize in PSP
EXPORT (custom brush) bthairswirlbrush.jpg into your brush files

Filters: 

Adjust - Variations
Filters Unlimited 2 - Andrews 3 - Random Fuzz Pushout
PhotoEffex - Scanlines
Filters Unlimited 2 - DC Special - Rich-n-r...

Open the EOTtemplate - this will be your working image
Turning on the rulers will assist you in correct placement

Activate the Mariel 2006 tube
Copy & Paste as a New Layer onto your working image
Using the Pick Tool - Stretch the tube to fill the top & bottom of the working image
Pull over to the left - see placement below

Effects - Plugins - Adjust - Variations - Select Original on the top left hand window
Midtones - Checked - More Cyan - More Yellow - Lighter
Duplicate the Mariel tube Layer
Set the top layer (Duplicate) Blend Mode on Multiply - Opacity 97
Set the Blend Mode of the original Mariel tube layer on Normal -Opacity 55

Activate the hjr-makeup tube
Resize 90% Bicubic - 3 (Three) times
Copy & Paste as a New Layer
Set the Blend Mode to Luminance(L) - Opacity 39

Activate the btEyeWatch tube
Copy & Paste as a New Layer
Resize this tube 90% bicubic All layers NOT checked
Keep resizing until it fits - see placement below

Set the Blend Mode on Normal - Opacity at 36
Your Layer Palette should look like this

Right Click on Layer Palette - Merge Visible

New Raster Layer - Send to Bottom

Activate the Top (Merged) Layer
Right Click on Layer Palette - Duplicate
On the Copy of Merged (Duplicate) Layer
Image - Resize - 90% Bicubic - All Layers NOT Checked

Activate Merged Layer
Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2 - Andrews 3 - Random Fuzz Pushout
Settings 15    24    85

Effects - Plugins - PhotoEffex - Scanlines

On Copy of Merged Layer - Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat
Promote Selection to Layer
Flood Fill with color #635a4b
Selections - Modify - Contract - 3 pixels
Hit the Delete Key on your Keyboard
Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout
V - 4 (minus 4) H - 3 (minus 3) Opacity 90 Blur 100 Color Black

Repeat Cutout changing Vertical to - 3 (minus 3) Horizontal - 4 (minus 4)
Leave all other settings as they are
Promoted Selection - Merge Down
Deselect

Activate Copy of Merged Layer
Image - Resize - 90% Bicubic - All Layers NOT Checked

Activate - Merged Layer
Image - Resize - 90% Bicubic - All Layers NOT Checked
Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat
Promote Selection to Layer
Flood Fill with color #635a4b
Selections - Modify - Contract - 3 pixels
Hit the Delete Key on your Keyboard
Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout
V - 4 (minus 4) H - 3 (minus 3) Opacity 90 Blur 100 Color Black



Repeat Cutout changing Vertical to - 3 (minus 3) Horizontal - 4 (minus 4)
Leave all other settings as they are
Deselect - Merge Down

Set up your Material Palette
Foreground Color #45454d - Background Color #000000 (black)
Set the Foreground on Foreground/Background Gradient
with the following settings




Activate the Bottom (Raster 1) Layer
Flood Fill with Gradient



With the bottom layer (Raster 1) still active---
Selections - Select All
Promote Selection to Layer
Flood Fill with color #635a4b
Selections - Modify - Contract - 3 pixels
Hit the Delete Key on your Keyboard
Deselect

Activate the Copy of Merged Layer
Effects - Plugins - Filters Unlimited 2 - DC Special - Rich-n-r...

Right Click on Layer Palette - New Raster Layer
Apply the bthairswirl brush using the colors of your choice.

Merge Visible
